Accessibility Features

Keyboard Navigation

All functionality on Nimble is accessible via keyboard. Users can navigate using Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter, and arrow keys. We provide visible focus indicators on interactive elements.

Screen Reader Support

Our website is tested with popular screen readers including JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver. All images have descriptive alt text, and form fields have associated labels for clarity.

Color Contrast

All text meets WCAG AA standards for color contrast ratios (at least 4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text). We don't rely solely on color to convey information.

Text Resizing

Users can resize text up to 200% without loss of functionality or content. Browser zoom works properly across all pages.

Clear Navigation

Navigation menus are logical and consistent across pages. Skip links allow users to skip repetitive navigation content. Page structure uses proper heading hierarchy (H1 through H6).

Form Accessibility

All form fields have associated labels. Error messages are clear and specific. Required fields are marked. Form validation provides helpful feedback.

Video & Media Captions

All video and audio content includes captions and transcripts. This benefits users with hearing disabilities and those in sound-restricted environments.

Mobile Accessibility

Our website is fully responsive and accessible on mobile devices. Touch targets are appropriately sized, and content is readable without horizontal scrolling.

Known Limitations

While we strive for full accessibility, some limitations may exist:

  • Embedded third-party content: Some third-party widgets or services (Stripe, mapping services, analytics) may have limited accessibility. We are working with vendors to improve this.
  • PDF documents: Legacy PDF documents may not be fully accessible. We are converting documents to accessible formats when possible.
  • Complex data tables: Some complex data tables may require alternative accessible formats. Contact us if you need accessible alternatives.
